Eligibility

• Artists and creators from any discipline, any nationality, and without an age limit.

• Applicants should be at a mid-career or established stage.

• Applicants must demonstrate fluency in French or English and a clear interest in connections between art and mental health.

Application / Project Requirements

• Detailed CV, maximum two pages, in French or English.

• Portfolio, maximum ten pages, in French or English. Researchers may submit a dossier of recent publications.

• Statement of intent, maximum two pages, explaining motivation, relevance to current research, interest in Paris and the Cité, and the proposed use of professional support.

• One recommendation letter from an institution or curator.

• Collectives must submit one joint application.

Funding / Support / Benefits

• Residency from 5 January to 26 March 2027.

• Furnished live-in studio at the Cité internationale des arts, Marais site.

• Monthly grant of EUR 1,000 net of taxes.

• Coverage of international round-trip travel to or from Paris airports or train stations, travel insurance, and research support up to a defined ceiling upon presentation of receipts.

• Four to six working sessions with Albertine de Galbert, professional meetings, networking, ongoing documentation, an open studio, and a final presentation.

Additional Conditions Stated by the Organizer

• Live-in studios are approximately 25 to 35 square metres and can accommodate up to two adults and one child under ten. Additional fees apply for companions and visitors.

• The official page states that the available live-in studios do not currently comply with current disability-accessibility standards.
