Deadline

April 30, 2026

This grant program supports nonprofit organizations in the United States and U.S. territories that champion immigrants in the arts, sciences, education, or through social services. In 2026, the Vilcek Foundation will distribute a total of $200,000 in grants, with individual awards of up to $20,000.

The foundation prioritizes mission-driven nonprofits that take creative and innovative approaches to supporting immigrant communities and developing distinctive projects or operations. Preference is given to organizations working in U.S. states or territories where the foundation has not previously awarded grants.

Eligible applicants must be U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in good standing with the IRS and able to provide required financial and legal documentation. Grants are one-time, non-renewable awards. Funding is not available for fiscal sponsor–based organizations, scientific research, capital projects, fundraising events, K–12 or charter schools, or political activities.
