AI & Architecture Award 2027: Worldwide Generative Architectural Art, €2,500 Prize Pool

An award for unbuilt AI architectural concepts

AI Architects Magazine is inviting independent designers, architecture studios, architects and digital artists worldwide to its AI & Architecture Award 2027. Rather than rewarding photographs of finished buildings, it seeks bold, unbuilt architectural ideas: imaginative structures, spatial experiences, novel material approaches and unexpected environments developed through artificial intelligence. The organiser explicitly prefers AI as a genuine thinking and design partner rather than simply a shortcut for a polished rendering. Applicants should therefore focus on the architectural idea and how their decisions turned experiments into a coherent concept.

How single images and image series are entered

Creators may enter a single architectural image or a related series of between two and ten images. For a series, every image must derive from the same core text prompt or creative concept, although minor changes are permitted; assembling unrelated visual proposals defeats the stated purpose. Multiple separate entries are welcome. The organiser invites entrants to consider what is new about the spatial, formal or material thinking rather than describing only the image-generation software. Confirm the precise upload specification, crediting, publication rights, commercial restrictions and acceptable use of other source images in the live entry form before paying.

2027 deadlines, entry prices and cash awards

The main deadline is January 31, 2027, and the last call is February 14, each ending at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. A single-image entry costs €25 and a series of 2–10 images costs €45, prices also listed in the organiser's online shop. Three cash awards total €2,500: €1,500 for first place, €750 for second and €250 for third. Finalists may receive certificates, inclusion in AI & Architecture Magazine and social promotion; selected works may enter a partner exhibition, but a particular display is not guaranteed for every entrant.
