BOYERIS International Film Festival 2026: Free Worldwide AI and Experimental Film Call
BOYERIS International Film Festival, an inaugural online festival operated by France's Boyer Studio SASU, welcomes filmmakers, students, emerging directors and established creators worldwide. Entry to the 2026 edition is free, and films must be no longer than 40 minutes. Eligible films may have been produced in any year from 1900 through 2026; the call is open to innovative audiovisual formats as well as more conventional filmmaking.
Who can enter and what to create
The five creative directions are New Cinematic Forms, AI-Assisted Cinema, Hybrid & Experimental, Vertical Cinema and Social Vision. Submitters do not select a category: the organisers place films in whichever competitions fit. Relevant AI use must be disclosed honestly; denoising, stabilisation or upscaling on its own will not qualify a film as AI-Assisted Cinema. English subtitles are strongly encouraged for non-English dialogue. All applicants retain copyright but must control permissions for music, voices, faces and other protected content.
How and when to submit
The final deadline is November 15, 2026. Apply through BOYERIS's direct submission portal, Festhome, or its official email form. Provide a private streaming/screening link rather than emailing the film file. Public online screening permission is optional; choosing not to show the entire film publicly does not disqualify it from jury consideration. Official selections are scheduled for December 6 and awards for December 28. Honors include BOYERIS Grand Prize and several creative-category awards, but the rules do not promise a fixed cash amount. Always check that your submission receives confirmation.
