This is an international open call for an online exhibition inspired by the Japanese concept of WABI-SABI, which embraces impermanence, imperfection, humility, simplicity, and the beauty of the everyday. Artists are invited to explore themes of aging, accidents, unconventional processes, and understated compositions from their own perspective.
All fine art media are accepted, including painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, ceramics, film/video, and digital art. AI-generated work is not eligible. Artists whose work has been selected for previous Art Fluent exhibitions are not eligible.
All accepted works will be shown in Art Fluent’s online gallery.Awards include:Best of Show: $750Two Director’s Choice Awards: $250 each
Entry Fee$25 for the first entry$10 for each additional entry (up to 20 works)
EligibilityOpen worldwide to amateur and professional artists
Submission is handled through CaFÉ.
