Cass Art Bristol OPENWALLS Series 7: UK Digital-Print Artists Apply by 8 November
Cass Art Bristol has opened submissions for OPENWALLS Series 7, a public exhibition at its Art Space in Bristol. The call covers two-dimensional art and explicitly accepts printed digital artwork, making it relevant to digital illustrators and artists who exhibit physical prints. It does not accept AI-generated images, video installations or other installation-based works.
Who can submit, and which digital artworks qualify
The open call is restricted to artists aged 18 or older who are resident in the United Kingdom. Each applicant may submit one work, completed no earlier than September 2024. Digital art must be supplied as a physical two-dimensional print ready for hanging; a digital file alone will not be displayed. The permitted artwork dimensions are up to 1 metre wide and 1.5 metres high, excluding its frame. Entrants must hold the necessary copyright and third-party permissions.
Deadline, costs and exhibition
The submission deadline is midnight on Sunday 8 November 2026 in the UK. There is no application fee, and Cass Art does not take sales commission on exhibited artwork. Selected artists are expected to deliver their ready-to-hang work to The Art Space, Cass Art Bristol, 43–45 Park Street, by 6 pm on 23 November 2026. Delivery and collection costs are borne by the artist. The exhibition is scheduled for 2 December 2026 to 9 January 2027 and includes an audience-voted People's Choice element.
How to submit
Email bristol@cassart.co.uk with the exact subject OPENWALLS S7 APPLICATION. The official call requests the artist's name, date of birth, UK address, contact details, artwork title, year, medium, dimensions and intended sale price if applicable, plus a single JPEG image of the entire work (preferably 300 dpi, no larger than 1 MB). The entry is by email only, not by physical post, and required information must be complete.
