Circular ArtSpace, the Bristol community arts organisation, has opened its 43rd Community Art Exhibition in Virtual Reality. Artists of all backgrounds and media may propose up to three artworks through CuratorSpace by 2 November 2026 at 23:59 GMT. The show is scheduled from 9 to 30 November in its MetArtSpace virtual exhibition.

Open formats: digital images, 3D models and video

The programme is not restricted to flat digital photographs. Acceptable media include painting, illustration, prints and photography, but also video art, digital installations and sculptural pieces presented as 3D models. There is no compulsory exhibition theme, providing artists with considerable creative flexibility.

For 2D work the upload formats include JPEG and PNG up to 4 MB per image. For full 3D artworks, a linked GLTF or GLB file up to 20 MB is accepted; video artists can provide an MP4 link up to 100 MB. These formats should be tested in advance before assuming a complex interactive installation can be shown intact.

Free initial application, paid selection

Applicants can submit up to three pieces through a free CuratorSpace account. Artists accepted for display pay £20 for one artwork, £30 for two, or £40 for three, after the jury's decision. The initial proposal does not guarantee acceptance or free participation.

The post-selection contribution covers the virtual exhibition, promotional material, an exhibition catalogue and access for visitors through the gallery's digital platform. Circular ArtSpace does not take sales commission, instead providing direct artist contact routes.

The venue and realistic benefits

Circular ArtSpace operates a physical community gallery in Bristol, England, and an online exhibition environment called MetArtSpace. It develops opportunities for international artists to participate in virtual curated group shows and publishes announcements through CuratorSpace.

The November exhibition is accessible online, with no requirement to ship physical work. This is a paid-display model once selected, not a paid job or a cash-prize competition. Read the terms on artist image reuse, catalogue and personal information before joining.

Official organiser and application

Information reviewed on 23 October 2026. Applications, eligibility, costs and rights are governed by the latest organiser rules. Confirm the live entry form before applying.
