Clúid Housing Winter Photography Competition 2026: Irish Residents' Seasonal Images Due 15 November

Clúid Housing is inviting residents of its housing properties in Ireland to enter the winter edition of the Four Seasons Photography Competition 2026. This small-scale, no-fee photography call celebrates how the winter season looks through the eyes of the people who live in Clúid communities. Submissions can be made digitally, making it accessible to residents who photograph with a smartphone or digital camera. The restriction is essential: it is NOT a contest open to all photographers living in Ireland or overseas; the applicant must live in a Clúid Housing property.

Winter deadline and how the seasonal programme works

The closing date for the Winter 2026 theme is 15 November 2026. The organiser runs four rounds through the year, linked to spring (15 March), summer (15 June), autumn (15 September) and winter (15 November). Only the winter round remains upcoming as of 19 October; those earlier three dates have passed. An entrant can submit one original photo per seasonal round, rather than multiple entries to improve the odds.

Eligibility: Clúid housing residents only

The official rules explicitly restrict participation to residents of Clúid Housing properties. Clúid is an Irish housing association with homes and tenant services across the Republic of Ireland. This is a residents' community event, not an independent international photo salon, a scholarship, or an open-to-all Irish photographic award. Applicants outside the eligible housing community should not enter even if they are Irish citizens.

Prizes and judging

For each seasonal round, first prize is a €100 One4All voucher, second prize a €75 One4All voucher and third prize a €50 One4All voucher. Clúid appoints a judging panel that considers creativity, composition, technical skill and relevance to the season. The decision of the judges is final. Winning and shortlisted images may appear in the organisation's website, social media, printed publications or tenant newsletter. There is no entry charge.

Photo format, originality and personal consent

Enter an original photograph taken by you in JPEG or PNG format, with a maximum image-file size of 2MB. The official page describes a minimum image resolution requirement using the wording 300kb; because that mixes file-size and image-resolution concepts, entrants should ask the organiser for clarification rather than treat 300kb as a pixel specification. The photo title should be included in the filename. Where other people appear, the organiser assumes the entrant has obtained their consent; this is particularly important for photographs of children.

Sending an entry

The organiser accepts an entry by emailing the image to fourseasons@cluid.ie along with the entrant's name, number and address. Alternatively, a print can be posted, with the same contact details, to: Photo Competition, Clúid Housing, 159–161 Sheriff Street Upper, Dublin 1, D01 R8N0, Ireland. Postal entrants should allow sufficient delivery time and check the current official competition terms; no posted photograph is returned.

Organizer background and previous rounds

Clúid Housing provides social and affordable homes and resident services in Ireland. The competition is described on its official community website, which also links to winners from previous 2025 seasons and outlines how residents are informed through From House to Home, its own newsletter. These examples establish an identifiable organiser and recurring community programme, while the official rules—not any independent summary—determine eligibility.

Copyright and privacy considerations

Photographers retain copyright in their original submissions. The organiser's published terms allow it to use winning or shortlisted photographs, including the entrant's name and partial address, for promotion in websites, social media and print material. Before sharing work, residents should read the original terms and ensure they are comfortable with possible publicity and have permission from any identifiable person in the frame. No applicant should send bank details or identity documents merely to enter this free competition.

Checked against the housing organisation's 2026 contest rules on 19 October 2026. This independent editorial summary is not an endorsement by Clúid and does not promise a prize; the published original rules govern submissions.
