Festival and eligible creators

The CSFCCA International AI Film Festival is accepting its Winter 2026 season from creators worldwide, with film screening and industry exchange activities in Taipei, Taiwan. The festival includes categories for short AI movies, directing, screenplay, character design, sound design, animation, documentary, music video, experimental imagery and AI comics. A quarterly judging system can nominate outstanding work for the annual Golden Mars Grand Prize. The jury stresses story, directorial imagination and audiovisual expression, not only technical novelty.

Technical rules and application

For most film categories AI must account for at least 50% of the production process or final visual content; some categories demand even more. Best AI Film and AI Animation usually require three to fifteen minutes, Creative Achievement one to ten minutes and Documentary five to fifteen minutes. AI Music Video must contain an entire music track and be no longer than fifteen minutes. AI Comics are submitted as a PDF, preferably ten to thirty pages, with English translations of non-English dialogue. The applicant must clear music, voices, footage and all third-party rights.

Deadlines, fees, awards and rights

The Winter edition opened October 5, 2026. Regular deadline December 10, final deadline December 31; results are scheduled January 22, 2027 and event February 26. Best AI Film costs US$25 regular or $28 final, while Animation and many craft categories cost $22 regular or $25 final; FilmFreeway Gold discounts differ. The festival does not guarantee a cash award to every winner. One official award statuette is complimentary for the annual Golden Mars Grand Prize; additional statuettes are offered at $299 each, so distinguish trophy sales from actual prize money.
