DARC Resolution 2027: Digital Art, Games and Short Films — Members Apply by Nov 15
Digital Arts Resource Centre's Resolution 2027 member showcase welcomes digital art, games, animation and short films up to 30 minutes. Active DARC members only; deadline Nov 15.
What is Resolution 2027?
Digital Arts Resource Centre (DARC) in Ottawa, Canada, has opened submissions for Resolution 2027, its annual public screening of member-created screen-based work. The in-person screening is scheduled for January 14, 2027. It is a presentation opportunity, not a general-purpose open competition.
Eligible art and an important membership restriction
Eligible projects include screen-based artworks, digital art, games, animation and short films with a maximum running time of 30 minutes. The call is explicitly limited to active DARC members. Creators who are not already members should check current membership requirements and access to the application before spending time on a submission.
Dates and selection
Submit no later than November 15, 2026 at midnight according to the organizer. A peer assessment committee will make the final selections, and the organizer expects to notify applicants in mid-December. Selected works will be presented at the January 14 public event.
Application steps
Applications are submitted via DARC's Arts Management System (AMS), rather than by ordinary email. Create or access your AMS account, choose New Application, select the Resolution 2027 campaign, complete the form, and press Submit Application after marking it ready. The organizer warns that merely saving the application as a draft does not finish submission.
Who runs the program?
DARC is an Ottawa media-arts resource organization providing facilities, screenings, technical spaces and artist programs. Its own official event notice gives the membership condition, scope, deadline and application system, which applicants should use to verify changes.
Official application and source
Verified from the organiser's primary notice on October 21, 2026. Deadlines, costs and terms may change; confirm the latest official requirements before submitting.
