Getxophoto 2027 Tide Open Call: Digital Art, Video and Images Worldwide by 3 November
Getxophoto, the international image festival in Getxo, Spain, is inviting artists and collectives worldwide to propose work for its 2027 edition. The theme is 'Tide'—the movement and circulation of images, memory and collective life. Beyond photography, the organisers explicitly welcome video, installations, performance and digital art.
Eligibility and work requirements
Emerging and established visual artists of any nationality may submit alone or as a collective. The curatorial focus is on works that question how images travel, transform meanings and build connections. Projects arising in digital or online spaces are welcome. Proposals must be submitted in English or Spanish.

Selection and possible benefits
Three winning projects are offered exhibition or installation production during the festival (27 May–20 June 2027), with production costs paid, a €500 artist fee each, two nights of opening-week accommodation and up to €150 international travel support. Exact exhibition format and budget are agreed with the organiser.
