A residency in Knoxville, Tennessee, for artists in writing, visual arts, dance, theater, music composition, architecture, and interdisciplinary work.

Deadline: Applications are open from 1 June through 15 July 2026 and close at midnight Eastern Time.

Application Fee / Participation Fee: The official page states that the residency has a USD 25 non-refundable application fee. It also states that applicants may email during the open application window if the fee is a financial barrier.

Eligibility: Applicants in the creation stage of their project or work cycle may apply in writing, visual arts, dance, theater, music composition, architecture, and interdisciplinary work. The FAQ states that artists currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program are not eligible, artists must already have the ability to work in the United States and receive income, artists must be at least 21 years old, and artists must live more than 120 miles from Knoxville.

Application / Project Requirements: Applications are submitted through the Loghaven SlideRoom portal. Applicants choose from the listed 2027 residency sessions and apply according to the official application instructions.

Award / Support / Benefits: The FAQ states that Loghaven underwrites room and board, provides a USD 850 weekly living stipend, a travel subsidy on a sliding scale from USD 400 to USD 800, and up to USD 200 in reimbursement for materials shipping.
