MINORIA LATENT Venice 2027: Global Photo & Still Digital Art Call, €25 Early Fee Until Oct 31

MINORIA — LATENT is an international photography and still digital art exhibition at A Space Gallery in the Castello district of Venice, Italy, on 9–10 January 2027. Curated by Monika Turczyńska, it investigates the unseen or developing image, traces of memory, hidden connections and the point at which an image becomes visible. Artists aged 18 or over from any country may enter with photographs, photomontages, digital collage and still digital artwork suitable for printing. Images created entirely by generative AI are excluded. AI-assisted creation must be disclosed.
Early-bird and standard fees
Applications close at 23:59 CET on 20 December 2026. The early-bird fee is €25 until 23:59 CET on 31 October; from 1 November the standard entry price is €35. One paid application can contain one to three works. There is no additional fee for selected artists for exhibition, local printing or installation. The organiser may close the form early on reaching 200 applications. Paying an entry fee does not guarantee selection. Applicants should check their local bank's currency-exchange charges separately.
Twelve artists and local printing
Upload JPG or PNG previews of up to three original works and their titles, dates and media. A short artist bio of no more than 150 words is required, while a statement of up to 200 words is optional. The curator will select at most twelve artists, with one work printed locally per selected artist at approximately 30×40 cm. Local production, installation, exhibition label, online and PDF cataloguing and documentation images are included. The artist does not have to attend Venice or send a physical artwork. Frame, art sales and international travel are not promised.
Copyright and final deadline
Decisions are expected by 27 December. Selected artists send print-ready high-resolution files by 30 December and approve the print layout by 2 January 2027. Artists keep copyright; the gallery receives a nonexclusive exhibition and promotional licence, not ownership or AI-training permission. A 14-day withdrawal and refund procedure is described, subject to the official terms. This is a curated exhibition without a cash prize.
