Photography+ Emerging Talent 2026

A free international open call by Photoworks for early-career photographers and image-based artists, with selected artists featured in the next issue of Photography+.

Deadline: 15 June 2026, 11.59pm. The official page does not state a timezone in the deadline line.

Application Fee / Participation Fee: Free to enter.

Eligibility: BA and MA graduates, as well as image-based artists within the first five years of their practice and/or graduation. The opportunity is international.

Artwork / Submission Requirements

Submit via Picter.

Submit up to 15 images from one single project and a statement of no more than 200 words.

Only one project may be submitted; multiple projects are not accepted.

Prize / Benefits

Ten awardees will be featured in the next issue of Photography+, Photoworks’ online magazine.

The ten awardees will also be showcased at Kranj Foto Fest in an evening projection.

A selected artist will receive one year of Photoworks membership with mentoring from the curatorial and editorial teams; another selected artist will receive a 200 GBP printing voucher from Spectrum Photographic and an Instagram takeover.
