Robin Nance Metz Art Competition 2027: Digital Art Call for Alabama Residents
Shelby County Arts Council invites Alabama residents aged 18 or older to the 2027 Robin Nance Metz Art Competition. Eligible digital work includes digital painting, graphic design, pixel art, collage and vector art.
The council is a regional nonprofit supporting visual and performing arts since 2005. Its EBSCO Fine Art Gallery in Columbiana also hosts the Inspire Art Exhibit in October–November 2026.
Works, fees and awards
Submit up to two original works using one entry form. The non-refundable fee is $45 per artist and does not guarantee selection. AI-generated work is excluded; check the rules on works previously shown by the council. Best in Show receives $750; Best Digital Art receives $250.
Deadline and submission
Entries close at midnight on 27 November 2026; no timezone is stated. Upload JPEG images, each no larger than 3 MB, through the form on the council’s official competition page. This is the organizer’s own entry and payment form.
Selected artists must arrange delivery for the exhibition, scheduled for 18 January–28 February 2027 at the EBSCO Fine Art Gallery; delivery costs are the artist’s responsibility.
