Solo-exhibition program for young artists at Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo.

Application Fee / Participation Fee: Application fee: free.

Eligibility: Applicants must live in Japan and be born on or after 1 April 1991. For group applications, all members must meet the eligibility requirements. Applicants who pass the first screening must attend the second interview on 18 September 2026; online interviews may be considered for applicants living far away.

Exhibition / Application Requirements: The program accepts exhibition proposals using TOKAS Hongo exhibition spaces, composed of two-dimensional work, three-dimensional work, video, installation, or related formats produced by the applicant. Applicants download the official application package, prepare a plan sheet and portfolio using the package formats, and submit through the online application form for the selected exhibition space.

Prize / Benefits / Support: Four selected artists or groups hold individual exhibitions at TOKAS Hongo from April to May 2027. Support includes free use of the venue, a production support fee of 150,000 JPY excluding tax, partial support for exhibition installation work, partial transport-cost support, public-relations cooperation, operational advice and support, artist talk, and exhibition catalogue production.

Conditions / Notes: The official page states that each applicant or group may submit one plan only. If applying for different exhibition spaces as first and second choices, the exhibition plan must be the same.
