FUTUR Festival México 2026 Seeks Global Digital Artists for 15-Second Screen Works
International visual-art call
FUTUR Festival México invites artists and collectives worldwide, aged 18 or older, to propose a digital visual piece for its 2026 electronic-music event. The theme, Envision the FUTUR, connects electronic music with visual art and culture. Selected pieces will be shown at Parque Fundidora in Monterrey, Mexico, on November 14, 2026.
Required artwork format
The proposed work is a 15-second video or animation designed for a four-sided screen measuring 3 metres high by 1 metre wide, with the published format of 768 × 256 pixels. The artwork must be entirely visual, with no audio component. Applicants must follow the organizer's creative and technical brief.
Application materials and schedule
The official form requests an artist or collective biography, portfolio, concept description, project goals, moodboard or visual references, and a technical specification sheet. Applications opened September 30 and close October 20, 2026. Results are scheduled for October 30. Shortlisted applicants may be asked for a second review before the final work is delivered.
What selected artists receive
The benefits are an on-site screening with creator credit, promotion through festival and media channels, a certificate of participation and two VIP Premium admissions. Travel and accommodation are excluded. The terms explicitly state that selected projects are collaborative and unpaid; there is no artist fee or cash prize promised.
Rights and submission
Selected works are exclusive to FUTUR Festival México 2026; creators grant exhibition and promotional dissemination rights under the published terms. Applicants must own or have permission to use all relevant elements and may be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement. The official application is on the call webpage.
