International Artistic Photography Awards IAPA 2026: 16 Creative Categories, 15 November Deadline
The International Artistic Photography Awards (IAPA) is accepting submissions to its 2026 photography competition until 15 November 2026. Photographers interested in experimental images, portraits, conceptual work or traditional photographic genres can submit through the organizer's current award portal. This is a paid award program, so entrants should decide whether its jury, recognition and prize structure justify the fee.
The official category menu contains sixteen themes: Portrait, Landscape, Documentary, Minimalist, Architecture, Fine Art, Black and White, Street, Conceptual, Travel, Mobile Photography, Drone, Abstract, Nature/Wildlife, People and Photo Manipulation. Not all creative image manipulations follow identical conventions; consult the 2026 rules and submission instructions before uploading composites or digitally transformed photographs.
For the current advertised pricing, a single-image entry costs US$20, while a series costs US$30; additional categories can receive a 20% discount under the organizer's pricing policy. The early-bird period ended on 15 October, so applicants should not base their decisions on expired introductory offers. Final submissions close 15 November, judging is scheduled through 15 December and results are announced for 20 December 2026.
The overall Photographer of the Year is associated with a US$1,000 cash prize plus certificate, press release, winners' gallery and annual-book coverage. Category winners and honorable mentions generally receive recognition, interviews or promotional features, not necessarily cash prizes. Review the organizer's current prize description to distinguish the overall award from category badges.
The IAPA website names its judging panel and includes winners from 2025, giving prospective entrants a previous-results archive to examine. It describes itself as a modern independent arts award rather than claiming the history or authority of an established national museum. As with any paid photo contest, photographers should inspect image usage rights and accepted editing processes before uploading.
