This is an open call for playwrights to submit original stage plays for consideration in The Black List x TRW Collection, a publishing and licensing partnership between The Black List and Theatrical Rights Worldwide (TRW). At least six plays are selected each year to be published and licensed, making them available to schools, universities, community theaters, and regional theaters.

The program runs on semi-annual review cycles, with deadlines on May 1 and November 1. Writers discovered through blcklst.com may be invited to join the collection and, if selected, will negotiate publishing and/or licensing agreements with TRW. The call is open to all writers aged 18 and over, including writing teams, provided all eligibility and rights requirements are met.
