Artists-in-Residence Program: Visual ArtAnderson Ranch Arts Center

This residency program supports emerging and established visual artists by providing focused time, space, and resources to develop new work. Residents work within a community of artists and receive feedback from visiting artists and critics, with an emphasis on experimentation, interdisciplinary exchange, and risk-taking. Housing, studio space, and meals are provided in a setting designed to support sustained artistic production.

Residencies are offered in ceramics, new media, photography, furniture design, woodworking, painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture. Fall residencies run for 10 weeks, while Spring residencies are 5 weeks. Participation requires a program fee, though a limited number of fully funded fellowships are awarded through a jury process. Applicants must be 21 or older and submit work samples, a statement of purpose, and references.
