The Bronx Council on the Arts is seeking artists, arts professionals, and community leaders to serve as panelists for 2026 and future grant cycles. Panelists review and score grant applications, provide written feedback, and recommend recipients for public arts funding. BCA distributes nearly one million dollars annually to Bronx-based artists, collectives, and nonprofit organizations.
Applicants may include performers, visual artists, musicians, curators, critics, historians, and arts-engaged community leaders. Panelists may reside in any borough, and BCA strongly encourages diversity across age, race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, discipline, and location. Selected panelists receive an honorarium for their service and are contacted as needed throughout the year.
