Innovate Grants Fall 2026: Two $1,800 Awards for Visual Artists and Photographers Worldwide
Innovate Grants has opened its Fall 2026 round for contemporary visual artists and photographers around the world. Applications are accepted until Tuesday 15 December 2026 at 23:59 Pacific Standard Time. The program welcomes creators who are eighteen or older and accepts a broad range of media and genres, making it relevant for photographers, digital-image artists and people with other visual practices.
Two successful applicants are selected for monetary awards: one visual artist receives US$1,800 and one photographer receives US$1,800. An additional eighteen creators—nine in each discipline—receive honorable mentions and promotion through the program. These outcomes should not be conflated: an honorable mention is not an additional cash grant unless the organizer separately confirms such payment.
The application process is intentionally portfolio-focused; the organizer emphasizes a streamlined submission to allow the work to speak for itself. Prospective entrants should select a consistent set of representative images and read any format, quantity, artist-statement and identity requirements presented by the current application form. The program states that artists retain rights to the work they submit, subject to the application terms.
There may be a participation or administration fee: the currently visible official landing page does not display a confirmed price for the Fall 2026 cycle. For that reason, this article does not assert that applying is free or quote an outdated fee from a different season. Confirm the total shown in the live form before authorizing payment and check whether refunds are possible.
The independent Innovate Grants platform publishes previous winners, interviews and an About page, allowing applicants to evaluate its history and prior awardees rather than relying only on promotional claims. A listing from the London Photography network independently reproduces the Fall 2026 date, amounts, audience and eighteen honorable mentions.
