Pedvale Art Park in Latvia invites international artists to research winter landscapes through its January–February 2027 residency. Roughly two hours northwest of Riga, its historic landscape and sculpture park extend across approximately 100 hectares. The programme welcomes visual artists, writers, dancers and performance practitioners, especially people who come from regions without a snowy winter.
Eligibility and artistic focus
Applicants may choose a four-week stay from 3 to 30 January or from 2 to 28 February 2027. Up to nine artists can be accommodated together. Residents stay in a furnished early nineteenth-century manor house with shared facilities and receive access to studios, outdoor work areas and the art park.

The original organizer's deadline is 29 November 2026. During the final week of each residency, participants are invited to show winter-inspired work in an exhibition. This is a project-development stay rather than a competition with a guaranteed cash prize.
Costs, support and practical requirements
Pedvale charges an artist residency fee of €480 per month, due no later than one month before the stay. The organizers explicitly state that no grant, stipend or other financial support is offered. Travel and specialized materials are at the artist's own expense; accompanying family members cost an additional 50% of the residency price.
