Peep Space 2027 Exhibitions: Global Visual and Video Art Proposals, November 11 Deadline
Peep Space, a small artist-run contemporary gallery in Tarrytown, New York, is accepting proposals for solo exhibitions, group exhibitions and independently curated projects during its 2027 season. Applications are due November 11, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Artists and curators aged 18 or older can propose work in many media, including photography, experimental video, sculpture, collage and installation, provided the project can be shown within the space's physical and staffing limits.
Two different exhibition environments
Peep Space offers a Main Gallery of approximately 300 square feet and a separate Back Room for compact, site-responsive projects. Proposals can express a preference for either or both spaces. Selected exhibitions are expected to run for four to five weeks in 2027. The gallery supplies access during normal gallery hours, basic installation and curatorial support, and digital promotion. It does not automatically pay artwork transport, international shipping, framing or artist accommodation.
Submission materials and video samples
A main gallery proposal can be up to 500 words. Back Room proposals should engage directly with the smaller site and carry a shorter suggested limit of 300 words. Include between one and ten images of actual or representative works plus an identifying image list with artists, dimensions, media and dates. Proponents working with time-based art or sound can supply as many as three samples of no more than two minutes each, with proper viewing access and a concise explanation of the installation requirements.
Fees and commercial terms
The application uses a pay-what-you-can fee between US$20 and $40; artists unable to afford it may request a waiver from peepspaceny@gmail.com. Peep Space retains 40 percent of any artwork sales made through the exhibition, leaving 60 percent for artists before their own taxes and costs. Selected exhibitors organize transportation, installation and deinstallation in cooperation with the gallery. This is an exhibition proposal, not an unrestricted artist stipend or guaranteed sales contract.

Founded in 2020 by Monica Carrier and Jane Kang Lawrence, Peep Space operates at 92 Central Avenue in Tarrytown, a train journey from New York City.
